In the mid 1980's, on a whim, Patricia C. Harrington tried her hand at painting a wooden bowl. From that experience a passion was born. After retiring from teaching in 1997, Pat moved to her beloved Vermont to live and work. A self-taught artist, Pat combines painting with her love of wood and nature. Each of her hand-painted decorative wooden bowls is a one-of-a-kind creation with a design-inspired phrase written on the back of every bowl. Pat, a member of Vermont Hand Crafters, lives and paints in Rochester, Vermont.
